Digital Dashboards & Facilities Controls With Bluebeam Revu

A digital dashboard is an interactive PDF structure that includes links to project documents, space inventory, equipment location, and tracking data for all your project and facility control needs. Instead of working with tedious network/cloud file saving and naming instructions or struggling to explain how/where to access the data users need, a Digital Dashboard presents that information through an intuitive point-and-click interface. Using maps, buttons, areas, or regions linked to other PDFs, files, and websites your users can navigate to the exact information they need without ever having to worry about where the files are or how they’re named. We’ll discuss best practices for:

  • Creating Item Links to Specs, Cut Sheets, Submittals

Construction Analytics

Construction Analytics is a process for integrating all the data you use on a daily basis, with the Microsoft Power BI solution, to turn your construction jobs into visual powerhouses instead of the endless, dry, tedious tables and forms we’re all used to dealing with. Imagine all your costs, schedules, and budgets showing as charts and graphs, that update in real-time, without you needing to do anything! Need to know how far over budget or behind schedule you are on a given job? No problem. Need that same information cumulatively for all your projects? Done. All simple to show in charts and graphics that you can easily understand with Construction Analytics. We’ll discuss best practices for:

  • How to Access/Use Power BI
  • Building Basic Analytics Reports
  • Using Procore as an Analytics Data Source
  • Using Microsoft Excel as an Analytics Data Source
  • Using Microsoft Project as an Analytics Data Source
