POSTPONED: CLC Hard Hat Tour & Networking Reception

Description

We value our members, and the health and safety of our membership is of the utmost importance. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, GBCA is evaluating next steps regarding GBCA events, on an ongoing basis. We will communicate the status of events to our members as information becomes available.

  



Take a tour of the Hyatt Centric hotel project by Clemens Construction Company, and then celebrate the first day of March Madness with us at the Black Sheep Pub!

Scheduled to be completed in 2020, this 13-story, 190,000 square foot hotel at the corner of Chancellor and 17th streets features over 300 stylish guestrooms, including 40 spacious and modern executive suites. Amenities include restaurants, a fitness center, an outdoor terrace for guests and one level of underground parking with stackers. The steel structure is optimized for limited depth by Girder-Slab D-beams. It will also house a subterranean parking garage for 220 cars and 7,500 square feet of ground floor retail. 

Several other GBCA members are working on the project: AmQuip Crane Rental, LLC; Berlin Steel; BrandSafway Services; Bucks Concrete Services; Resteel Supply; Shore Supply; Sunbelt Rentals; The Silvi Group Companies; and Tri-State Construction.

**All attendees are expected to have proper PPE, including: Safety glasses, vests, and hard hats. Please wear sturdy shoes, close-toed with thick bottoms or steel-toed boots. GBCA will provide glasses, vests, and hats to those who do not have them.** 

Time

Meet at the corner of 16th & Chancellor no later than 3:00pm. The tour will start promptly at 3:00pm. The tour is followed by a happy hour at the Black Sheep Pub, 247 S 17th St.
