Understanding Constructors - GBCA Members Only

Description

No two construction projects are alike. Each one is unique and each requires a different set of skills and resources for the project to be successful. The construction process involves a multitude of moving pieces, terms, acronyms, and partners, which can be confusing to those who are not “construction minded.” This program is intended to help those not familiar with the construction process navigate their way. When you step back and see how the different pieces interrelate, patterns start to emerge and logic starts to bring organization to the project and the process of construction. With nearly a century of experience in the industry between the two of them, join Charles Cook of R.S. Cook & Associates and Michael Youngblut of M&T Insurance Agency to breakdown the construction process, explain methods and clarify terms. 

Attendees will be provided a glossary of terms and acronyms to take home with them. Who Should Attend: Secretaries, Bookkeepers, HR Professionals, Administrators, Executive Assistants, Assistant Project Managers, recent college graduates, new hires, or those who come to the industry from another field… basically anyone who may not have a strong background in construction, but works in our industry, and wants to become more familiar with terms, language, and construction processes!
